		Helen Rushton - Partner in charge Operations Following on from my qualifications I initially entered the hospitality industry, picking up key skills that would open the way for a career in recruitment. I commenced construction recruitment in 1997, placing middle and senior managers to the Building industry and was quickly promoted through the ranks to Business Manager where I opened up two offices for a rapidly expanding group. I joined forces with Simon and Alan to set up England Associates in 2002, with the aim of building a quality specialist recruitment supplier to the construction industry. We are well on the way to achieving our goal! Outside of work she enjoys scuba diving and off road endurance racing. helen.rushton@englandassociates.co.uk
		Simon England - Senior Partner After gaining a BSc Hons in Civil Engineering from Manchester University, I pursued a civil engineering career working for a top 5 Engineering Consultancy, followed by Site engineering / management experience gained in England, Cyprus, Papua New Guinea and the Amazon jungle in Peru. I changed careers into construction recruitment in 1983 with a major recruitment group, gaining promotion to UK Head of Construction. For the last 20 years acted as MD of both private and multi branch recruitment groups. Hobbies include off piste ski-ing, sailing and tennis. simon.england@englandassociates.co.uk
		Southampton Regional Office Alan Betteridge - Managing Partner Following the successful completion of my degree I joined a small recruitment specialist working with white collar rail professionals throughout southern England. I found the role very rewarding and enjoyed the buzz of working in a young, competitive but friendly sales office. I demonstrated a flair for training and mentoring other like minded graduates and progressed to a team manager role managing a team of 5 consultants. 		London Regional Office Dan Eley - Managing Partner After proudly gaining a BA Hons in Economics and Law, I joined one of the UKs largest insurance providers, trusting that they would provide personal and career development. However finding the environment frustrating and stifling, I sought out an alternative career based on meritocracy and personal performance � a career in recruitment! Over the next 8 years I worked for the UK�s two largest specialist construction recruitment businesses; developing award winning teams and launching 3 new offices. Armed with this experience, and having previously worked with the Partners, England Associates represents a fantastic lifestyle as well as career choice.
