I am looking for a gateman to start immediately in the Broadstone area for 2 weeks. This role could possibly be long-term for the right candidate. Job Title: Site Manager      
Location: Dorset      
Salary: £40k - £50k (dependent on experience) + benefits

A well respected main-contracting/ fit out/cut & carve construction company is currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the team. The individual will work on projects M4 downwards in counties such as Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, and ideally have the ability to understand all Contract Documents.           
     
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Maintain the project Site Waste Management Plan
  • To deliver supermarket fit out projects
  • Review drawings for build ability and co-ordination. Raise RFI's where appropriate
  • Ensure design information is passed to the supply chain and that all works are completed to the latest information.
  • Manage direct site labour and maintain accurate records.
  • Organise and run all site-specific inductions.
  • Assist with completion of any snagging works/rectifying latent defects if they occur.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Contract's Manager in regards to the supply chains performance.
Personal specification:
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to understand all Contract Documents
  • Basic planning and reporting
  • Current certification in CSCS
  • First aid - 3 day course
  • SMSTS
  • Asbestos Awareness

I am working with a family owned, regional contractor in the Hampshire area who are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join an existing team of passionate and dedicated employees. The individual will be involved in the pre-construction and tender planning side, the methodology, logistics side, and the live side i.e. monitoring live jobs.  
   
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and monitoring existing planning policy documents
  • Helping to draft and review planning applications
  • Conducting appropriate research to inform planning applications
 
 Personal specification:
  • Previous industry experience
  • Proven experience in the management and development of employees and teams
  • Good organisational and problem solving skills
  • Co-ordinate a complicated sequence of work activities
  • Keep everything going according to plan

I am working with a main contractor in the Dorset area who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an existing team of passionate and dedicated employees. The individual will have a manufacturing background preferably and be interested in steel works. This company focus on factory work within the construction sector.
 
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Preparing regular progress reports for project sponsors
  • Making daily tasks lists and delegating responsibility
  • Arranging and leading on regular team meetings
  • Keeping up to date with any policy and legislation changes
  • Undertaking site checks to monitor progress
  • Dealing with matters arising from stakeholders such as environmental and local community issues
  • Monitoring budget reports
 
 Personal specification:
  • Previous industry experience
  • Proven experience working on manufacturing projects
  • Understanding and interested in factory work within the construction industry
  • Flexible with working hours and have the ability to travel within the local area on a regional and national basis when required
  • Ability to take ownership and solve problems and implement actions
