The SEQP requirement is as follows: $2022; Act as SQEP to support the engineering assurance required for MCS contracts including for SPS, ANSSA, T45 BMS $2022; Act as SQEP to Safety panels and undertake relevant assurance activities (documentation review, Saftey Case preparation, OEM Solution peer review) for equipments transitioning into MSC. $2022; Act as the Author and reviewer for Statement of Works for future MCS Contracts (ANSSA, SSAMS, BMS, TACAN, DF & GPC). $2022; Provide engineering SME support for ANSSA. The process for amalgamating six contracts into one new in-service support contract is in hand. Engineering SME support is required to ensure Supply Support and Equipment Upkeep activities/data are fully captured in the new contract. Failure to provide accurate engineering data will result in a poorly defined contract; that will not deliver the requirements of the Common Support Model. $2022; Provide engineering SME support for T45 S2091 BMS. This project has been delayed several times and a new support contract will not be in place before Oct 18. The new contract is required to ensure the full range of in-service activities will be in place and that all of the issues concerning the sonar cables are captured and rectified. Failure to provide the new contract will lead to information being lost and possibly more costs incurred carrying out work already completed. $2022; Provide engineering SME support for T45 and QEC systems transfer to MCS. Failure to provide engineering SME support will result in MCS accepting immature and incomplete support solutions for T45 and QEC systems. Essential: HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a engineering subject. Within APS, the Mode 5 Identification Firend or Foe (IFF) Project Team is the focal point for procuring and integrating Mode 5 Identification Equipment and provides advice and guidance to platform project teams as they make acquisition decisions concerning identification equipment. The Mode 5 IFF project will provide a secure and inter-operable IFF system to multiple platform types. This is a complex project covering a large number of diverse platform types in all three branches of the Armed Forces. These include ships, submarines, rotary wing, transport types and ground based air defence systems and radars. The contract was awarded in May 17 to the Single Prime Contractor. The post holder shall support the Mode 5 Project Manager in the management of the procurement, integration, installation and support of IFF equipment across all three domains (Air Land and Maritime). The post holder will be responsible for the following activities: $2022; Schedule control to include planning, monitoring and control of the Mode 5 project schedule. $2022; To analyse and assess the Contractor production and embodiment schedule against the contract award baseline. $2022; Monitor and report to the Project Manager the performance of the project team schedule and critical path. $2022; Support the Project Manager on schedule matters at internal meetings. $2022; Engagement with Defence Lines Of Development to ensure project dependencies, enablers, constraints and risks are properly identified and managed in the schedule. $2022; Fully conversant with Microsoft Enterprise Project (EPM2010) and Primavera P6.
