My Client is a well established Facilities Management Company looking for a multi skilled engineer to start permanently on their site in Lime harbour (Docklands).
 
You will be responsible to a day manager/supervisor for multi skilled but predominantly electrical biased works on a wise range of building services reactive and planned maintenance on a remote site in Suffolk. The work is taken in shift patterns to ensure 24hr cover for the critical site.  
 
All shift teams to be complementary with balance of electrical and mechanical support across the sites.
 
Qualifications needed:
 
  • 17th Edition or Bs7671 Electrical Regulations
  • Time served Apprenticeship & C&G Part 2 or Part 3 in Electrical Engineering

The post holder is responsible for the overall programme and day to day running of their projects, this includes management of studies, design, development, production, support and/or integration of specialist systems.  
This is to be completed whilst keeping within allocated financial budgets, commercial guidelines and agreed timescales as well as undertaking the following: Programme/project management Guidance on the content and staffing equipment requirement documents, procurement strategies and business case submission. Acquisition through life management plans. Staffing contract documentation through commercial and finance staff. Chair meetings. Safety and environmental management plans and safety case reports and chair safety meetings. Risk management plans and risk registers for projects, including risk reviews during project meetings. Monitor and control financial aspects of each project or contract.  
Produce forecasts of outturn and support the EP planning process. Prepare technical briefs, costing analysis, status reports and meeting minutes/notes. Liaison with all relevant agencies. Experience of managing Information Communication Technology (ICT projects). Experience of the MOD/DE&S assurance process to achieve gated submissions. The post holder must be able to work under his/her own initiative with minimal supervision, have a flexible approach to the day tasks required of a project manager and cope with a challenging workload. Good communication skills in dealing with customers, contractors etc and a sound knowledge of DE&S procurement processes. DV clearance is essential and must be a sole UK National
