I am working with a top regional contractor based in Berkshire and they are looking for a Contracts Manager in the Central and North London area to join an existing team of passionate and dedicated employees. The ideal person will have worked for a regional/main contractor previously and also have experience in education.  
   
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Oversee projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget
  • Maintain contractual records
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies
 
 
 Personal specification:
  • Experience doing education projects - schools
  • Experience working for a tier 1 contractor/ regional contractor
  • Experience looking after contracts up to £25m.

Our client a regional construction company are currently seeking a high calibre Business Development Manager to report to the Operations Manager.  
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the operational areas of the business, the Business Development Manager is responsible for developing business plans and strategies to expand the customer base within the construction market and maximise income for the company, against agreed and required sales targets. The role is critical in promoting a professional approach and providing customers with a positive experience and the best possible customer service.
 
Essential skills:      
     
- Thorough understanding of the construction industry and / or housing sector experience.  
- Proven and demonstrable track record of building a solid pipeline which has delivered substantial growth for previous   and current organisations.
