An exciting opportunity to work for an expanding, family run housing developer working from their prestigious offices in West Sussex. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on exciting projects ranging from small bespoke properties up to large scale flagship projects.  
The Role:
My client is looking for an experienced residential Utilities Manager working in the Southern Homes Counties on prestigious flagship projects.
  • Instructing initial site soil investigations
  • Compiling existing service records from local authorities and service providers
  • Compile quotes for and instructing overhead cable diversions
  • Compiling utility budgets for land appraisals
  • Coordinating with various utility/service providers/consultancies/engineering managers/civil contractors to create site utility plans and designs
  • Compile and negotiate multiple utility installation quotes from service providers and instruct
  • Legal knowledge of planning preferred but not essential
Ideal Candidate  
 
  • Knowledge of residential utilities including, water, electric, gas, internet cabling etc.
  • Background with residential developer preferred but not essential
  • Background in service planning from a utility company
  • Background from residential utility consultancy

Lift Service / Repair Engineer

  • £ 35000.00 - £ 40000.00 per annum
Position Service/Repair/Callout engineer.
 
  • Carry out Servicing/repairs/call out, in London area (95% central London).
  • Call out rotor 1 week in 3 starting 5pm Monday till 8am following Monday.
  • Con Change/Fuel/Parking all paid by the company, which are done via phone.
  • Phone/PDA supplied for company use only.
  • Full company uniform supplied including PPE.
  • Stand-by money for call out week £110
  • Call out £35 per call weekdays £55 weekends & Bank Holidays.
  • OT will be required (We have to carry out Servicing on two Saturdays during a month which is shared)
 
Salary
  • Starting salary of £35-40K subject to experience.
  • Wages paid on the last Friday of the month. (No month in hand)
 
Holiday.
  • 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.

DESIRABLE 1. Knowledge of working on Transformation Programme. 2. Can provide good examples of managing 3rd party suppliers. 3.
