Role & Responsibilities
  •  Apply the principles of aerospace technology and science to airworthiness assurance for airbus as365 n3 helicopters. includes maintaining an effective equipment (aircraft) safety assessment report, type airworthiness report; maintaining the platform airworthiness strategy, integrity management plan and configuration management plan; delivering bi-annual platform safety & environmental working groups, integrity working groups, through-life management of the air system document set, confirm compliance against the civil approved data set and ensure compliance with military regulatory publications; and derive release to service recommendations. In addition, ensure interface management such as effective (internal & external) stakeholder management by ensuring data flow between military and civil-approved continuing airworthiness management organisations and their interdependencies.  Monitor and populate engineering management reporting tools: technical instructions, maintenance occurrence reports and changes to the approved maintenance program33me. Contract management: effective monitoring and reporting of nsrw service provision contract performance, resolve issues that arise during the design, development and testing processes for modifications. Involving specialist agencies when required to confirm technical risks and system boundaries to maintain platform integrity. Working with teams, suppliers, clients and managers to agree budgets plus timescales. Conduct contract reviews with contracted service provider and customer representatives annually. Derive and maintain a platform project schedule and present updates to team leader and spmap type airworthiness authority bi-annually. Identify and manage military registered aircraft under civil oversight business risks using the active risk manager tool. Prepare and review business cases/processes and desk instructions. Project manage the introduction of modifications and changes. Derive/staff supporting business cases. Derive/staff supporting business cases. RTS reports (iaw ra1300). Derive/staff supporting business cases using aspect. Project management of mods or changes. Updating air system document set provision of draft sar recomendation for shol clearance
