I am working with a tier 1 contractor based in the Hampshire area who are looking for a Design Manager to join an existing team of passionate and dedicated employees. You will be looking after contractors proposals for all jobs, and taking the project from inception to full delivery. The client ideally would like you to have worked for a tier 1 contractor as the processes are very similar.
 
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements
  • Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales.
  • Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction
  • Projects range from £500k - £5m
 
 Personal specification:
  • 5 years plus experience in the industry
  • Experience doing schools
  • Experience doing hospitals
  • Experience doing airports
  • Understanding of contractual design
  • Experience in refurbishment and extensions

Highway Design Engineer

Job Description:
 
Working within a small team your focus will be on highways design and liaising with developers,architects and local authorities.
 
You will be working closely with both Senior Staff members and the Managing Director on the proposal of new projects coming into the business.
 
One of the key tasks in this role will be Designing off-site highway features such as junctions, roundabouts or link roads in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges

Essential:

Role & Responsibilities  
We are looking for experienced and skilled individuals to provide proactive and targeted P3M subject matter expertise, advice and support as required to the Portfolio, Sub-Portfolio and Programme offices within the Army Change Portfolio.
