Role & Responsibilities
- Produce formal risk reports to boards as required by risk reporting strategy, including commentary on performance, coordinating upward aggregation of data / information and reports - highlight reports, programme status reports, management dashboards, etc. Ensure integrity of reports through consistent traffic lights; define and challenge traffic-light status Preparation and update of cost / schedule models at portfolio level by FLC Responsible for producing Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) reports showing P10, P50 & P90 allocation cost breakdown and explanation of any changes from previous results and the significant portfolio risks Carry out analysis and contribute to aggregated view of risk exposure across all DIO PPD Projects Contribute to development and maturity of risk management service Guidance to Project teams through scrutiny of risk registers, risk management plans, forecasts etc. Identify and report deviations and recommend exception reports to risk management lead when appropriate Monitor qualitative risk assessments, promoting mitigation planning on a cost/benefit basis Accountable for assurance checks on a percentage of submitted quantitative cost and schedule analysis for risk Responsible for comparing risk forecasts with actual spend, interrogating those projects which are vastly different as to reasons Contribute to risk management audit trail procedures meeting Corporate Governance requirements Lead the escalation of large or contentious projects / programmes identified using a risk based approach Contribute to an aggregated view of Risk across all projects or programmes of projects within PPD SME on the PPD PRM software tool: reflecting the aggregated view of risk, producing reports for presentation to PPD senior managers as required Support risk management practices through the application of Quantitative Risk Schedule Analysis at portfolio project level Champion risk management excellence, providing risk expertise and mentoring on risk, leading by example Expert guidance on Risk Management processes to wider DIO teams. Embed risk tools and standards Design a fast track audit service for GWR Arrange risk embedment training in accordance with training calendar Conduct risk embedmen training to be carried out in Q1 and Q2 18/19
