I am working with a main contractor in Oxfordshire who are looking for an experienced Special Works Estimator to join an existing team of passionate and dedicated employees. The individual will be able to carry out estimating from £50k - £2m and be experienced in preparing and measuring bills of quantities.
Roles and responsibilities:
Experienced in preparing and measuring bills of quantities
Importing BOQ's in to estimating system
Analysing tender quotation returns
Producing tender adjudication documentation
Experienced in leading post tender value engineering
Producing post tender handover packs for production/commercial teams
Experienced in using ConQuest estimating system or similar
Exposure to MTC, competitive and negotiated procurement routes
Personal specification:
HNC in Building Studies or higher
Circa 3-5 years post college experience in main contracting
Ability to carry out estimating £50k - 2m
Experience in D&B and traditional
Competent with the JCT suite of Contracts
Resides within 45 minutes of Oxford
Shown longevity with previous employers
Confident in dealing directly with customers, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers

I am working with a regional contractor in the Oxford area who are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an existing team of passionate and dedicated employees. The individual will be competent with the JCT suite of contracts and experience in D&B and traditional build.
Roles and responsibilities:
Preparation of contracts, including details regarding quantities of required materials
On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
Feasibility studies of client requests
Analysing completed work and arranging payment to contractors
Allocating upcoming work to contractors
Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
Personal specification:
Ideally QS degree qualified
Circa 3-4 years post degree experience, the majority of which is main contracting
Demonstrate experience of being lead surveyor on projects up to £5m
Experience in D&B and traditional
Competent with the JCT suite of Contracts
Resides within 30 minutes of Oxford as will be expected to travel 1hr in any direction from Oxford
Shown longevity with previous employers
