A highly respected, family owned construction company are currently looking for an experienced intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The individual will work in and around the Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex area including Worthing. The ideal candidate will have worked with main contractors and have tier 1 background.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Help oversee cost control of projects
- Support the team on the projects
- Calculate materials needed
Personal specification:
- Experience working for main contractors
- Ideally tier 1 background
- Ideally educational/healthcare experience

Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: West Sussex
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + package
Start date: ASAP
I am working with a regional contractor in the Hampshire area who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an existing team of passionate and dedicated employees. The company are looking for an individual to run a £2.5m design and build project in Worthing.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of the project
- Managing the production of the required deliverables
- Planning and monitoring the project
- Adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures
- Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
- Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
Personal specification:
- Previous industry experience
- Design and Build experience
- Ideally an engineering background
- Experience working for a regional or tier 1 contractor
- Ideally someone who has experience doing retirement/care homes
- Capable of running projects over £2m
- Contracting background
