  • Production of the ILS products for Future Pumps contract (MET LOT 14);
  • Update and review supportability elements of the Project Management Plan (PMP);
  • Generate, update and review the Transition to Service Plan (TSP) and Service Delivery Plan (SDP) (ISP / supportability case);
  • Upkeep management of the Product’s support solution, according to agreed customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s.
  • Monitoring of the Product’s in-service behaviours against the Availability, Reliability and Maintainability (AR&M) specifications contained in the System Requirements Documentation (SRD) and/or Contractual technical specifications.
  • Identify future support risks and effect efficiency Value for Money changes to the Product and/or Support Solution, ensuring configuration of the Product and its Support Solution.
  • The enforcement of effective preventative and corrective maintenance regimes and Supply processes, including resolution of User Reported Incidents, in liaison with the Engineering and Supply Chain Management functions.
  • Influence Product design, by fully understanding how and when the goals and aims of ILS can be used across the In-Service Life Cycle phase.
  • Monitor the support elements of the mission system to ensure that existing and new customer requirements are being met.
  • Determine support solutions, through collaborative team working by cutting across multiple functional pillars and leading stakeholders.
  • Deliver and implement through life cost effective support solutions and acceptable product and support designs, which comply with current MoD policy and governance controls.
  • Influence the design of system modifications / technology insertions /performance upgrades to ensure that the aims of supportability engineering are met and that any changes are not detrimental from a supportability engineering viewpoint
  • Provide consistent, accurate and timely TTLS technical assurance, advice and guidance to their assigned PM/SDM, in consultation and agreement with the TTLS function lead.
  • Provide SME TTLS / ILS advice, guidance and assurance on Obsolescence Management (OM) on an ‘as and when required’ basis and supporting OM lead.
  • Provide consistent, accurate and timely TTLS technical assurance, advice and guidance to their assigned PM/SDM, in consultation and agreement with the TTLS function lead.
