Role & Responsibilities
- A CVI is the socio-technical analysis of any system, platform, location or process, at any point in its lifecycle, to understand where it may be vulnerable to cyber-effects. CVIs are the first step in allowing Defence to understand their holistic cyber vulnerabilities, identify and prioritise potential cyber risks and inform how they should be managed. The investigation and subsequent reporting help senior decision makers understand their cyber risks, take ownership of them and, in turn, influence other key stakeholders' planning with regards to the through-life management of those risks. A CVI Manager is required to lead and manage a portfolio of investigations via Defence Industry across the Air Domain. Reporting to the CVI Transition Manager they will be responsible to the completion of Defence prioritised CVIs to time cost and quality, as well as providing technical assurance of the industry conducted investigations. They will lead the interaction with the Royal Air Force and other key stakeholders. Key Tasks: Lead and manage delivery of multiple CVIs across Air and Space themes. Responsible for technical assurance of industry delivered activity. Participate in the procurement activity.
