Receptionist - Basingstoke - £20,000
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a receptionist to join a national house builder in Basingstoke.
-Manage reception area on a day to day basis and ensure that it is kept clean, tidy and free from obstructions.
-Answer all internal and external calls promptly and in a polite and friendly manner.
-Take messages as required and forward them to the appropriate person within 2 hours.
-Report any switchboard or telephone problems to the IT department as soon as they occur.
-Update and distribute internal telephone list on not less than a monthly basis.
-Regularly check voicemail messages and forward them to the appropriate person within 2 hours.
-Ensure all maintenance issues pertaining to the reception area are reported as soon as practicably possible.
-Ensure all visitors are appropriately signed in on arrival and signed out on departure.
-Issue badges to all visitors and communicate the health and safety requirements for the building.
-Sign for any deliveries and ensure the appropriate person is notified. Ensure all deliveries are removed from the reception area as soon as practicably possible.
-Ensure that all visitors are dealt with in a professional and confidential manner.
-Carry out post room duties for the region as applicable.
-Undertake administration duties for the region as required.
-Assist other departments as and when required e.g. Customer Care and Marketing.
