A number of vacancies have arisen at RAF Stations across the UK for Programmed Works Technicians to manage the implementation and delivery of building and building services projects throughout the Estate. This will include processing orders and managing subcontractors to meet cost and date targets.
Roles and Responsibilities
Implementation and delivery of Ordered Works
Working with client rep's to ensure adequate requirement definition.
Working with subcontractors to scope and price allocated projects.
Submission of Offers to client on behalf of my client
Placing orders on subcontractors
Maintain project documentation and ensure invoices are processed promptly.
Ensure all Facilities Management activities and those of its Supply Chain are carried out in a safe manner at all times.
Monitor and report progress.
Point of contact for the client on project deliverables and completion documentation.
Resources and Reporting
Post holder reports to the Site Ops Manager or Projects Manager as appropriate.
Oversees subcontractor resources to accommodate Project requirements.
Ensure deliverables are achieved within timescales and cost limitations.
Routine reporting against programme of projects.
Processes and Procedures
Ensure correct procedures implementation.
Scrutiny of deliverables for sufficiency and quality of presentation.

The job holder should be able to demonstrate the key skills, qualifications and experience required for the position.
Graduate or HND/HNC in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
Experience of building or building services.
Membership of an appropriate professional body preferable.
Experience of working in a partnering and collaborative environment preferable. Knowledge and understanding of working on MOD estates, and their operational needs an advantage. Experience of project management software desirable. Customer and delivery focus is an essential requirement for the positions.
