Staff Management • To manage the cost-efficient delivery of manpower resource • To maintain a high level of supervision for supervisors, directly employed operatives, agency staff and sub- contractors and Office staff, where required • To provide guidance, coaching and general management to maximise staff capability • To allocate, monitor and progress general workloads • To manage the recruitment, selection and induction process • To encourage and develop Supervisors and other staff to take ownership on key accountabilities • To manage disciplinary issues. • To ensure a seamless service and team work between all areas of the Repairs Team
Contract Management • To manage delegated contracts on a day to day basis ensuring KPI`s & Customer satisfaction are achieved within the contract budget • To ensure the client is provided with the appropriate performance service delivery information as necessary • To represent RML at required meetings including those with the client and action all appropriate issues • Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the contract budget • Monitor and manage the timely submission of information
Contractor Management • To supervise sub- contractor operations ensuring works are executed according to contract specification. • To ensure all works adhere to current legislation and Rydon Group H&S and Quality policies • To ensure works are carried out in line with the contract budget (or quotation) and to specification. • To provide up-to-date information on contractor performance • Ensure Sub-contractor compliance with Annual Orders, CIS, Insurance and H&S information.
Process Management • To manage van inspections, Operative Audits, van stocks, time sheets, risk assessments, method statements, tool box talks and Health & Safety issues. • To ensure timely budgetary control, profitability, invoicing, cash flow, credit control. • To liaise with the Branch/Contracts Manager to assist in preparation and management of works. • To ensure the Client’s Policies and Procedures are followed and met at all times • Ensure the Branch exceeds the Company’s performance requirements • Undertake audits ensuring the Branch’s compliance with Group Policy & Procedure

Experience required
You will understand and take responsibility for the fact that this role is pivotal to the successful management of a repairs service. You will have a real “can do” attitude with an eye for detail and be able to transmit and encourage that attitude. You will be able to independently manage the repairs team, be customer focused, forward thinking and professional. You will need to posse |
