Role
To lead, improve and grow the Contracts you are responsible for by achieving and exceeding Company Business objectives (financial and qualitative) and Client service delivery standards. To support the growth Maintenance division through mobilisations and developing the capability within the team and securing this work.   
What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Degree, Diploma, HNC in a construction discipline (Desirable)
  • Technical qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
  • Membership of relevant professional technical body with chartership (Desirable)
  • IOSH or equivalent
  • ILM Level 5 or equivalent People Management Qualification
  • Building maintenance environment (Essential)
  • Demonstrable experience succeeding in a Contract Management role and shown improvements in service delivery (Essential)
  • Strong People Management Skills (Essential)
Candidate Information

Role
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in enabling the continued growth of the company.   Joining a successful business, which has already seen nearly 30% growth in the last 2 years. Your role will be helping to identify, develop and win new opportunities across both of the company's divisions - one delivering long-term maintenance and facilities management contracts the other delivering construction and refurbishment projects.   The role will enjoy a significant degree of autonomy whilst benefitting from the support of the Board of Directors. 
What You Will Need to Succeed
  • HND/Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
  • Identify and actively build relationships with clients and professional advisors/consultants who are in target areas/markets to identify new opportunities for the company
  • Support the retention of existing clients by working to understand their forward plans, key issues and objectives
  • Oversee the design and management of marketing campaigns

They are looking to employ an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a painting and decorating background operating from a regional office in Leeds.    
Responsibilities  
Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for delivering quick, effective, accurate and competitive prices on large and small-scale painting and decorating contracts. You will also be well versed in that strong commercial management of busy schemes, which are a mix of direct staff and sub-contractors.
