Working for a Regional Property Maintenance construction company you will be responsible for reactive Construction Maintenance as well as planned and preventative maintenance including repairs


You will be working on commercial properties within a 20 to 30 mile radius of your home with all work sent to you via the Scheduling team


Scope of works:
  • Carpentry skills & Plumbing skills also previous experience within this type of role are essential.
  • Adaptable building fabric skills to also include some skills in plumbing, brickwork repairs, tiling, floor repairs, glazing, painting and general building fabric works.
  • Experience in stud work installation, dry lining, minor plastering works, solid and suspended ceiling installations would be beneficial to the role
  • Experienced in delivering to a high standard in various building fabric trade areas

We’re currently undergoing a large recruitment drive for one of our main clients. We are seeking up to 5 Gas Engineers who can also maintain some basic plumbing works.

Working within a catchment area based on your home location you will be providing new, reactive, planned and preventative maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan for Commercial and Domestic Gas and related equipment as part of a highly skilled maintenance support function.    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all types of plumbing / mechanical repairs and installation work (including ancillaries) to the required standard and in line with any documentation provided
  • Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic gas systems, ensure acceptable standards of productivity and workmanship are maintained in the execution of work
  • Have the ability to work alone, carry out fault finding and repairs on all gas/ plumbing systems without explicit direction
  • Have the ability to raise concerns with gas/ plumbing systems in a concise and accurate manner both verbally and written


Experience & Skills required:
  • Qualified to C&G level or equivalent in one or more discipline and to a competent standard under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998
