Our client is a leading provider of innovative products and services in the communications and security industries with particular credibility across UK Military and Government sector.
 
This opportunity is looking for an experienced security professional with particular skills in Data Deep Packet Inspection, Capture and Storage. You will be skilled in as many of the following;
 
1) Traffic Flow Analysis.
2) Meta Data Generation protocol, fields, attributes
3) PCAP indexing categorisation and flexible/smart storage0
4) Session reconstruction
5) Traffic Encrypted  
6) Localised threat detection
7) Draft, Review and Issue Technical  Statement of Requirements, Capability Matrices and overarching RFI
8) Identify metadata requirements from Cyber Story Framework work with wider SE team (note: CSF should generate specific TTP detection logic requirements for the probe capability/technology).
9) Assess responses and viable products from RFP.
 
Candidates who are currently resident of the UK are required as there is both time required working as part of UK operations environments as well as future opportunities and projects that could include secure government projects.

Description:

PMO functions in support of complex programmes and projects. To take a specific lead on Risks, Issues, Assumptions and dependency (RIAD) management and assurance and reporting. Outputs & Acceptance criteria: 
The incumbent will be expected to deliver the following across the three functions within the first 3 months: 

Configuration Management 
Implementation of the Configuration Management Process across the delivery vehicles comprising the DPS Portfolio; 
Refinement of Configuration Management Plan; 
Establishment of Configuration Management Database/SharePoint repository; 
Achieve agreement of the appropriate CIs to be maintained; 
All CI controlled (version controlled etc); & 
Programme SharePoint libraries aligned to the programme; 


Change Management 
Maturing of the Change Management Process across the delivery vehicles comprising the DPS Portfolio; 
Refinement of the Change Management Plan; 
All requests for DPS to provide a respond to ABC Options, RFCs and ILRs actioned within agreed SLA timeframes; 
Establishment of routine Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and Emergency CABs; & 
Change log up to date and fit for purpose. 

Quality Management 
Through the outputs of configuration and change, support complementary management functions.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Over see and drive, as the MPP(Major Programmes and Projects) Project manager, significant projects as part of the Sensitive Projects Portfolio contained within MP2. 

Experience is required of PM delivery of construction projects and this will require appropriate construction based qualifications. In addition knowledge of working with MoD and more particularly DIO would be an advantage. 

Working to the B2 programme manager, this is a project management role, involving management of outsourced service providers and delivery of sensitive construction projects. Incumbent is responsible for project monitoring and accurate reporting of all delegated projects including clearly articulated performance and any variances between forecast schedule and financial forecast of outturn in current and successive financial years. 

A good understanding of public procurement is desired but clear Project Management experience is required. 

Role includes identifying allocating and then driving completion of tasks by project team. Acting as focal point for designated projects liaising with DIO Commercial staff to run competition, Requirements Managers to create post competition Business Case, Finance Teams and Senior Programme Leadership.
