  • A proficient user of the CSP platform helping the company achieve their contractual goals by ensuring that the Quality Standards our customers require, tailored per contract.
  • Support the TDA in delivering the use cases for a customer.
  • Help align our quality assurance processes to the customer requirements.
  • Support the Technical Delivery Managers in reporting progress of the test activities.
  • Support the Quality manager in terms of proving successful delivery of the use cases.
  • Work together with other members of the Test Team to be effective and plan and execute test activities.
  • Supportive of the development of the Cyber Security Apprentices in terms of the technical prowess.
  • Understanding of the CSP product.
  • Understanding the Cyber Threat Landscape and how our products might help our customers manage these threats.
  • Understanding of Big Data Technologies (Cloudera/Hadoop, Elastic, Spark, Flume, Pentaho PDI)
  • Understanding of quality assurance techniques and testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of Testing tools and repositories such as Testrail, HP ALM, JIRA Defect tracking.
  • Experience with Test Automation tools would be advantages

  • The individual will lead the Driving and Movements (White Fleet Optimisation) project which represents a significant Efficiency Savings initiative within D Support's portfolio. It addresses demand and supply optimisation, efficiency of delivery, introduction of an Electric Vehicle capability and seeks to improve the effectiveness of service to the Army's user community. The project has dependencies with Regional Command, the Tri-Service (MDP) Driving and Movements project, the Babcock Phoenix II contract that provides the White Fleet and the Land Fleet Optimisation Project dealing with Green fleet provision. The individual must have a project leadership and management background and preferably a good knowledge of fleet management with confidence to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including industry, military personnel in Army HQ and the Field Army as well as those employed at DE&S. The role requires the incumbent to work with authority and initiative to drive this project forward, lead a small team and deliver programmed efficiency savings. The individual needs strong planning and organisational skills, people and communications skills and analytical skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence senior decision-making. The responsibilities include the following: a. Lead the project team and provide routine decision-making and direction for the project. b. Contribute to blueprint design and take over leadership from the existing (short-term) team. c. Delivery of plans and schedules to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included. Ongoing management of those plans to achieve the delivery goals. d.
