£ 520.00 - £ 520.00 per day

Experienced in the development of data warehouse capability. Support the identification of an appropriate solution which allows delivery of existing data services. Understand current architecture, data structure, security requirements and business process. Consider hosting and security, Support solution design taking into account platform sizing, volumetric s, network connectivity, web services, web UI, ETL, data egress and data security. 

Job description: 
The MOD is replacing its aging Civilian HR system. 

A data warehouse expert is needed to join the DBS (Defence Business Services) Knowledge Information / Management Information Team (KI/MI) to assess the current MI / BI (Business Information) Architecture for Civilian Personnel. 

The inidividual will work with FHRS-Civ (the project team delivering the new solution) and K&I teams. 

Key responsibilities include: 

*Assess the impact of FHRS HR change on CivPers reporting delivery including payroll, 
*Generate solution options and an evidence-based recommended option including self-service capability, 
*Produce an architecture for that option, 
*Produce a draft implementation plan, 
*Produce a business case for investment. 

Minimum Requirement: 
They have an issue and need someone to complete an impact assessment to fix the problem

As a Data Warehouse Expert you will: 

•Assess the impact of HR change on reporting delivery including payroll
•Generate solution options and an evidence-based recommended option including self-service capability
•Produce an architecture for that option 
•Produce a draft implementation plan
•Produce a business case for investment

You’ll have:
•Proven experience within a Data Warehouse and Business Analysis environment 
•A Valid SC Clearance
•Proven experience in working for a large organisation on a complex project
•Confidence in analysis, problem solving and offering ideas/solutions within a team environment
•The ability to communicate well with team members 

It would be great to also have:
•Experience within the public sector
Security Clearance: SC (Security Clearance) – essential - Filton (SW Filton) – travel to Stockport
