Description:
To lead and manage the resources to deliver engineering outputs to enhance capability and reputation; and to maintain standards and improve the quality of it's products, services and advice to customers. To lead and influence the development of work plans, including identification of improvements to systems, capabilities and/or process. To use existing and emerging engineering practice to lead the delivery of the work plans, which improve systems and products and provide advice and services for the benefit of customers. To lead and manage the generation and presentation of documentation and reports internally and externally in order to meet the needs of the customer, including; maintaining capability, integrity, standards; and/or communicating advice and knowledge and/or promoting reputation. To lead and provide engineering advice to other team members to improve the effectiveness and to manage resources of the team. To carry out continuing professional development in line with current and future needs.
 
Minimum Requirement

Essentially a 3rd line client support role – covering :SCCM / Windows Active / Group policy / Office 365 / Windows 10 & 7 

Technical Skill/Experience – a minimum of 12 months experience of products is essential and appropriate vendor certification is preferable 

Leads technical implementation of small to medium infrastructures and technical designs including producing cost and timescale estimates and identifying risks. 
On larger projects works within a technical framework of the project to meet customer requirements. 

2 Establishes working relationships with the customer and relevant operational units, at the appropriate technical and/or management level, to understand the requirements of the customer’s business in order to deliver and enhance the service.

3 Takes ownership for obtaining the information required to diagnose and resolve more complex problems than the engineer level. Engages with third parties to jointly resolve in-depth product issues where necessary. Proactively analyses information and trends, proposing action to resolve problems, maintain and enhance service.
