Undertake responsibilities of a QA engineer/software developer with a focus on test automation; Involvement with all aspects of test automation: functional, performance. You will join a team with a Service Designer, Delivery and Product Manager to co-design and prototype solutions with users and working with policy people, analysts and others. 5 days/wk in DfE offices in Westminster though the role will definitely and regularly require visits to schools and other organisations throughout England and Wales and to other DfE offices as required.

  • Monitoring and updating financial data, bringing forward issues for review, and proposing options/mitigation, to enable accurate forecasting and financial control through accurate reporting.
  • Supporting the planning, preparing and reviewing of project documentation, bringing forward issues arising for resolution and capturing lessons learned.
  • Networking and engaging with other project teams, sharing good practice and lessons learned. Engaging with Business Managers and Functions (finance/commercial etc.) as required, meeting Division and Programme aims.
