Painting Supervisor - Location: Hampshire - Competitive Salary  
I am looking for an experienced supervisor who has knowledge of working on planned and cyclical decorating projects. The ideal candidate will be of a trade's background and have experience ensuring work is carried out safely and completed on schedule in accordance to the client's changing needs.    
   
Role  
You will be responsible for overseeing a team for the planned and cyclical decorating of social and residential properties. You will also be responsible for liaising with customers and staff whilst maintaining a high standard of health and safety and paperwork. You will be reporting directly to the contracts manager.    
 
Desired Qualifications:  
CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS (recognised) and asbestos awareness.
   
Candidate Information  
The Successful candidate will be from a social housing background with experience of working on planned and cyclical projects as well as overseeing a trade's team. Experience of working within a trade's position is essential. Must hold a clean driver's license and DBS check.    
For this role you must be able to communicate and engage with customers and staff efficiently. You must have good customer service skills and be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner. My client is looking for someone to start in April.

Candidate Information

The most important elements relating to the work are:
 
  • Diagnose and rectify faults within core and other trade related repair requests.
  • To ensure that the quality of work meets the highest standards at all times.
  • Support all trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service.
  • Respond swiftly to all emergency situations and resolve them efficiently.
  • Keep the customer up to date with what is happening and is going to happen on their job, asking to see the repair and for any other repairs.
  • Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever
  • possible and reporting any difficulties encountered to the Supervisor.
  • Apply sensible Health & Safety in all you do, using risk assessments, method statements and PPE when needed.
  • Maintain tools, plant and equipment in a clean and workable condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of works undertaken
  • Ask your Supervisor/Contract Manager for assistance when required.
  • Be willing to work out of hours to the requirements of the client and participate on the call out rota
  • Your company vehicle must be kept clean and tidy at all times and any defects reported to the Fleet Manager in a timely manner.

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a highly successful drylining contractor based in Hampshire, who are looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Our client have been established in the drylining industry for a number of years and have long standing contracts with a number of national and regional house builders.
The role:
Due to winning a number of lucrative contracts, our client are looking for an intermediate quantity surveyor to join their growing team.  
This role will be to assist the senior surveyor and managing director in delivering such projects.
The candidate:
You will have previous experience of working for a sub-contractor, ideally within the dry-lining industry; however our client are very open to candidates from other industries.
The salary:
Up to £40k + package, along with an excellent bonus and pension scheme
