Electrician - Location: London (Brent) - Competitive Salary    
You will be working for a highly reputable company, one of the UK's largest property services companies, at the forefront of looking after the built environment with particular expertise in the social housing, education and commercial sectors.

I am currently recruiting for a fully qualified Electrician who has a background working within homes and work places.    
Role     
You will be predominantly carrying out general building PPM & Reactive activities, which will be anything from emergency light testing, light fixtures to repairs. You will need to perform assigned repairs, emergency and preventative maintenance. You will be working by yourself so self-awareness and motivation is vital in your characteristics.    
Essential Qualifications:   
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering
  • BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations plus amendment 3
  • 2391/2 Periodic Inspection, testing & certificate of electrical installation
  • Level 3 Initial verification of electrical installation
Desirable Qualifications:
  • JIB card holder
  • CAT B training
Candidate Information     
The successful candidate will need to have experience in both install and maintenance of electrics. Experience of carrying out maintenance in work places and homes will be key.  
You will need your own tools but vehicle will be supplied.

Claims Handler/ Desktop Surveyor - Location: London, Barking - c: £25,000 salary    
I am looking for an experienced desktop surveyor to handle insurance based claims within the property services industry. The ideal candidate will have a vast knowledge of property services, primarily specializing in insurance/ property claims.      
Role
  • You will be responsible for handling both social and domestic housing claims with tight deadlines and schedules.
  • Liaising with internal and external contractors to request valuations.
  • Settling the final accounts whilst constantly working new claims.
  • Requesting variations from internal and external contractors.
  • You will have general adhoc administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and entering data.
  • Putting together priced reports for the end user or policy holder.

I am looking for an experienced supervisor who has knowledge of working on decent homes projects. The ideal candidate will be of a trade's background and have experience ensuring work is carried out safely and completed on schedule in accordance to the client's changing needs.    
     
Role    
You will be responsible for overseeing a team for the planned maintenance and refurbishment of social housing to decent homes standards. You will also be responsible for liaising with customers and be in charge of quality control as health and safety is paramount in this position. You will be reporting directly to the site manager and assistant contracts manager.    
     
You must have an understanding of all principles within contracts management.     
   
Desired Qualifications:    
CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS or other building qualification (recognised)
