Regional Operations Manager - Location: Sussex, Surrey & South London - Competitive Salary
I am looking for an experienced Operations Manager who has experience delivering small works and building projects.
You will be responsible for delivering small building projects between the range of £3000-£65000.
The day-to-day management of high quality customer service through a directly managed team of Area Managers, Area Inspectors, back office staff and a Partnership Contractors. 
Operational management of the relevant Responsive Repairs team and its related functions. 
Ensuring that services are delivered effectively and efficiently to high standards.  
In collaboration with the Property Management team, reviewing demands, quality and taken action where required. 
Strategically planning, recruiting and maintaining the correct headcount within the department and influencing the Partnership Contractors against job volumes for all seasonal fluctuations and forecasted increases. 
Constantly managing team performance. 
Being commercially aware of business areas changes along with other internal departments 
Controlling a dedicated budget and monitoring spend.
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrable significant experience of managing a Responsive Repairs section 
Demonstrable experience in the Housing Industry 
Experience of budget management 
People management experience 
Significant experience in an associated trade. 
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
Flexible, dynamic and self-motivated 
Good communication skills 
Structured approach to problem solving 
Commercial approach via process 
Candidate Information
The Successful candidate will be from a social housing background with experience in delivering small building projects. The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing partner contractors, budgets and people. You will be a strong communicator and motivator with the aptitude to develop staff in a logical, controlled and timely manner.
